Manchester Midnight Walk is not only about raising money and awareness of St Ann’s Hospice, but most importantly about having fun! Last year’s event was an amazing night and the buzz around the stadium was overwhelming thanks to the wonderful community of Greater Manchester who truly got into the spirit.

Our first Manchester Midnight Walk last year was magnificent, raising more than £75,000 thanks to the efforts of over 1,000 walkers.

This year we plan to make the event even bigger and better with entertainment on the night before the walk, a fun warm up to get everyone in the mood and even a few celebrity faces to join in the excitement!

Here are a few stories from some of last year’s walkers and what the night meant to them:

As soon as we saw the amount of people who were taking part, we knew we were in for a fun night - or should I say morning! It really was a fantastic night, the atmosphere was electric and I certainly can't wait to do it again next year! Clare Hodcroft, Sale

‘It was like a really fab girls night out, full of laughter - the time just flew by and in no time at all we were back at the stadium having raised money for St Ann’s - how fab is that!’ Lindsey Dakers, Worsley

There was a real sense of camaraderie when we were walking and even though it was the early hours of the morning we felt rejuvenated and purposeful.
