It’s been yet another excellent year for St Ann’s and one in which we have managed to help thousands of people gain access to our services. We have developed a number of specific areas and managed our income and expenditure well, recession proofing our fundraising where we can and prioritising our supporter relationships.

We will continue to aim to raise £16,000 a day to keep our services running and look to negotiate with colleagues in the NHS to further improve specialist palliative care services for the local community. We also plan to raise more money to help improve our hospice facilities.

We don’t just look after the physical needs of patients. When Rose Booth, a patient at Little Hulton, told us her dream had always been to ride a Harley Davidson motorbike...we just had to make it happen!
