Payroll Giving

Can you or your employees take up the challenge and give up ONE glass of wine a month and donate the money to St Ann's Hospice?

Donating regularly through payroll is one of the most flexible and hassle-free ways for you and your colleagues to engage in charitable giving, allowing you to make regular, tax-efficient donations directly from your gross salary.

The beauty of Payroll Giving is that everyone benefits: your company, your colleagues and, most importantly, your local charity. Your regular, tax-free donations will allow us at St Ann's to plan for the future and make the best use of your money.

There's really no better time to begin Payroll Giving in your organisation. Over 9,000 businesses already offer the benefits of Payroll Giving to around 5 million employees.

Incentives...

1. A cash grant is available for SME employers, on a sliding scale:
1-99 employees - £300
200-249 employees - £400
250-499 employees - £500
These are available until the end of 2006 and can be backdated for companies that have set up a scheme after April 2004.

2. The Government will match employee donations up to £10, over six months (which can be backdated).

Where do I start?
