Sponsored Hadrian’s Wall Walk

Building started in 122 AD, 84 miles long and it was the most heavily fortified border of the Roman Empire! So why not walk it for St Ann’s Hospice.

Starting on Tuesday  28th August 2012, the walk will begin in Bowness-on-Solway (near Carlisle) and will end 5 days later in Wallsend (near Newcastle) The cost is approx £270.00 per person (based on 2 sharing a room – single occupancy charges apply £20.00 per night) This includes 4 nights B&B and baggage transfers from hotel to hotel (this doesn’t include travel to Bowness or from Wallsend) You would need to be in Bowness for 8.30am on Tuesday 28th and you will be walking between 14-20 miles per day, so if you enjoy walking, want to get fit or you want to experience the wonders of a World Heritage site, then why not raise money for a fantastic charity at the same time!
