We were so thrilled to have the opportunity to get the family together to celebrate David’s life (at the Manchester Midnight Walk) and do something worthwhile for the Hospice. We loved the chance to light a candle and write a special message in memory of David half way round the walk.Anita Thomas

Manchester Midnight Walk 2016
Join us for walk number 10!
Our Manchester Midnight Walk is back for 2016, and as it’s our 10th one, we’re planning to make it even bigger and better than before!
This is our biggest fundraising event of the year, and we need your support to make sure we raise more money than ever before to really celebrate our 10th birthday!
The 10km route starts at midnight from Manchester Central and takes in some of Manchester’s most famous landmarks including the Hilton Hotel, Old Granada Studios, Spinningfields, MEN Arena, the Northern Quarter and past the Universities. The route is fairly flat and on footpaths and ends back at Manchester Central.
ON THE NIGHT
Manchester Central is open from 9pm, where you can enjoy the evening’s entertainment, decorate your official t-shirt, and purchase bright accessories so you stand out from the crowd. As you cross the finish line you can collect your medal and goodie bag to celebrate your achievement!
- Standard Adult Fee of £20 (for those aged 18 and over)
- Youth Fee (11 – 17yrs) – £10
- Past Participant Adult Fee – £15
The registration fee covers the cost of organising and running the event on the night. It does not contribute towards your sponsorship total, so please try and raise as much as you can for St Ann’s Hospice.
The walk starts and finishes at:
Manchester Central Convention Complex Ltd.
HOW TO GET THERE
BY Car: Follow signs for Manchester City Centre and then signs for Manchester Central, Petersfield. If using a sat nav please use the postcode M23GX

The NCP are once again supporting us by offering our walkers a discounted parking rate of £3 for specific car parks on the night of the walk. The closest car park is Central Lower, which is directly under Manchester Central, but the offer is extended to the Oxford Road and Great Northern NCPs. To benefit from this offer, please bring your car parking ticket to the car park validation desk, where it will be validated. Once you’ve finished the walk you will pay the reduced rate at the car park machine before you exit. If you don’t get your car park ticket validated you will be charged the full parking rate.
Some people walk to remember a loved one, others walk for fun, but everyone that takes part in our event is walking for St Ann’s Hospice.
