Patient and carers’ group
St Ann’s Hospice believes that it is important to consider the views of its patients and carers.
No organisation should work without consultation from its ‘customers’ – in our case, the patients and carers who access our services.
Our patient and carer group provides a forum for us to gain the views of those people who are most important to us. This is especially useful when we are developing new services, making changes to current services, designing information leaflets or updating our Web site. Recent projects include:
- Survey of Hospice signage
- Checking that our patient information leaflets are easy to read
- Advising on the content of fundraising campaign information
Our patients and carers can often provide a unique insight into what we do and how we communicate – and we value, and do our best to act on, their input.
