He couldn't wait to tell me that the Hospice was like a 5* hotel and that he was out of pain for the first time in months!
It was wonderful to see my husband so delighted with the specialist chair and bed, and being able to have a bath in comfort. Being surrounded by caring people who fully understood his condition took away Julian's stress and anxiety.
My thanks go to the Hospice movement, and particularly to St Ann's, for caring not only for Julian, but for all my family and making his journey a calmer, peaceful and less painful transition from this life.
The way my children were able to spend quality time with their father in pleasant surroundings helped them enormously to move forward with their lives.
For this reason, I have decided to include St Ann's Hospice in my Will so that
the Hospice will be there in the future to offer similar care to other people
