“My response to a call for volunteers at St Ann’s Hospice almost 40 years ago was triggered while I was taking part in a hospice fundraising event at church.

Helping at St Ann’s from that day onwards became a priority in my life. It has been a privilege to witness the skill and devotion of the staff and, like many other volunteers, to become a member of such a great, caring team.
