Will Week 8-12 March 2010

From 8-12 March 2010, St Ann’s Hospice is running its annual ‘Make a Will Week’ where a number of solicitors across Greater Manchester give their time free to write a will for you.

Don’t put off until tomorrow...

Writing a will is something that so many people put off time and time again. Unless you make a will, you cannot guarantee that your estate will be distributed as you want.

St Ann’s Hospice Make a Will Week takes place between 8 and 12 March 2010 – this is an ideal time to make or change a will and support St Ann’s Hospice at the same time. Solicitors give their time free and you make a donation to St Ann’s Hospice.

Last year more than 350 wills were written raising an incredible £28,500 for St Ann’s Hospice. That’s over £148,500 raised from Will Week since 2003!  The average donation per will is between £50 and £150.

How to take part

If you would like to make a will, simply:

  • Contact a solicitor of your choice from our list and make an appointment between 8-12 March, mentioning ‘St Ann’s Hospice Will Week’ when you call.
  • Attend your appointment and make your will.
  • At the appointment the solicitor will give you an envelope to put your donation in (please make any cheques payable to ‘St Ann’s Hospice’). Seal the envelope and hand it back to the solicitor who will send it to us here at St Ann’s.
