Wish list

St Ann’s Hospice needs to raise over £16,000 a day just to keep our doors open. As well as this, we need to raise funds for essential building work and equipment.

Current items on our ‘Wish List’

Over and above the £16,000 a day we need to raise just to keep our doors open, we have equipment and refurbishment requirements. We hold a ‘wish list’ for these items and have to raise additional money to fund these projects. Predominantly we raise this money from charitable trusts, companies and donations from individuals.

Some of the projects and refurbishments funded in the past include:

  • Improved receptions at Little Hulton, Heald Green and the Neil Cliffe Cancer Care Centre 
  • Piped oxygen at Little Hulton
  • Replacement beds
  • Specialised mattresses
  • Replacement windows
  • Bedside lockers
  • Digital TVs for all patient beds
  • New ambulances
  • Family rooms
  • Nurses station at Little Hulton
  • Gardens
  • Bespoke artwork
  • Patios for patients
  • Conservatory refurbishments
