Research and Development

Dai Roberts as Head of Research & Development is responsible for directing and developing research initiatives within the organisation through teamwork, and also for strengthening links with external agencies and partners in palliative care.

Dai is currently an Honorary Research Fellow at the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Health Visiting at Manchester University and is secretary for the Greater Manchester & Cheshire Palliative Care Research Alliance (see link for further details of the Alliance).

Dai also co-ordinates a twinning initiative with the Hospice Association of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and is a member of the management committee for the UK Forum for Hospice & Palliative Care Worldwide.

St Ann's Hospice staff have a very broad range of specialist knowledge and many of their research projects have been published in both National and International journals.
