Social Worker


Little Hulton, Worsley, Manchester
£ 21,956 - £ 32,462 per annum
37.5 hrs per week

You will join our well established inpatient multi-disciplinary team. You must be CQSQ/DIPSW qualified and have experience working with both individuals and families dealing with loss.

You will be committed to multi – disciplinary team working, have experience in liaising with a range of agencies around continuing care funding, best interests’ meetings and have a knowledge of family support services. Experience of working in a health care environment and with dying and bereaved people would be advantageous.

We offer the opportunity to undertake relevant training and provide clinical supervision.

BANK CATERING ASSISTANTS

 

We have positions available at both our sites at Heald Green, Cheadle and Little Hulton, Manchester

Various shift patterns available, including school hours, weekdays or weekend only shifts

Rates of pay - Weekday £6.02 per hour, Weekend £6.45 per hour and Bank Holidays £9.63 per hour

You will carry out general kitchen duties including;
• Serving of refreshments throughout the Hospice
• Cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Basic food preparation
• Helping to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene

You should possess good communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as be part of a team. Previous experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. Uniforms will be provided.

Posts are based at Little Hulton, Manchester

An opportunity has arisen for self-motivated and experienced nurses to join our multi-professional team working across the city of Salford. We are seeking to appoint dynamic, innovative & experienced nurses to be part of a team that leads on the provision of specialist palliative care on behalf of the residents in Salford. The team are working towards delivery of a seven day service provision.

With the support of senior colleagues you will act as a resource in the community by liaising and collaborating with partner agencies to ensure comprehensive care for patients, their families and carer’s.

The successful candidate should have a post registration qualification in palliative care, a relevant 1st degree or be on a degree pathway, have experience of teaching and a robust understanding and application of evidence based practice. We require someone who has the ability to work autonomously and within a multi-professional team.
