You will join our well established inpatient multi-disciplinary team. You must be CQSQ/DIPSW qualified and have experience working with both individuals and families dealing with loss. You will be committed to multi – disciplinary team working, have experience in liaising with a range of agencies around continuing care funding, best interests’ meetings and have a knowledge of family support services. Experience of working in a health care environment and with dying and bereaved people would be advantageous. We offer the opportunity to undertake relevant training and provide clinical supervision. We are seeking to appoint dynamic, innovative & experienced nurses to be part of a team that leads on the provision of specialist palliative care on behalf of the residents in Salford. The team are working towards delivery of a seven day service provision. With the support of senior colleagues you will act as a resource in the community by liaising and collaborating with partner agencies to ensure comprehensive care for patients, their families and carer’s. The successful candidate should have a post registration qualification in palliative care, a relevant 1st degree or be on a degree pathway, have experience of teaching and a robust understanding and application of evidence based practice. We require someone who has the ability to work autonomously and within a multi-professional team.
