Royal Society of Medicine
Our Chief Executive Terry McDonnell was invited to chair a session at the Royal Society of Medicine Conference in Manchester held on September 23rd 2009.
Palliative care: Diversity in action was a one day conference which brought together leading experts in palliative care and related specialities to provide important updates in palliative and end of life care. Thanks go to Dr Stephanie Gomm, Consultant Palliative Medicine Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and St Ann’s Hospice for developing the conference and linking it to St Ann’s Hospice. The event enjoyed positive feedback and it is likely we will be asked to lead a similar conference in the future.
