Services available

• Inpatient Services
  St Ann's Hospice has two inpatient units with a total of 60 beds. Patients may be admitted to the inpatient units for a variety of reasons including symptom control, care following treatments such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy, specialist respite care or care at the end of life

  Inpatients are able to access a range of services provided by members of the multi-disciplinary team. Carers are also able to access support from staff with specialist training.

• Day Therapy
  Day Therapy services which include day care, supportive outpatients and medical outpatients allow patients and carers to self-refer and gives people the opportunity to receive support and rehabilitation to help them cope with their illness.
  
  
  
• Community Services
  Community Support includes Respite Teams, for Trafford and Salford, that work to support people in their own homes, providing specialist palliative care without the need to be admitted as an In-Patient. There is also a Community Specialist Palliative Care Team (Macmillan) based at Little Hulton. Bereavement support is also provided in people's own homes, in addition to support on site.
