"St Ann’s Hospice helped Violet to lead
as full a life as possible for as long as possible. She was able to
carry on being herself, which was very important to her."

St Ann's Hospice has 60 Inpatient beds,
36 at Heald Green and 24 at Little Hulton, making it one of the largest adult
hospices in the UK.
People admitted as inpatients are looked after by Palliative Care Consultants, who are supported by a multi-professional team of health professionals and volunteers.
Inpatient care means being admitted to one of our Hospices for a short period of time to have pain managed and symptoms controlled, or being admitted for a longer period of time for terminal care.
All inpatients are able to access other
St Ann's services including Supportive
Outpatients (a range of clinics to support specific needs of the patient
and family/ carer, both physically and psychologically) and also Day
Care.
Patients are referred to St Ann's Hospice as an Inpatient by their GP, Macmillan Nurse, Specialist Nurse or Consultant.
Referrals are accepted for pain and symptom control, rehabilitation following radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery and other palliative interventions, terminal care and specialist Respite care.
Contact us on 0161 437 8136 (Heald Green), or 0161 702 8181 (Little Hulton), for more information about being admitted as an inpatient.
