Named after the person who has died, it gives friends, family and colleagues an opportunity to raise money to directly help St Ann's Hospice provide care for other patients with life threatening illnesses.
Family and Friends can also be invited to contribute in any way they can, for
any length of time, in whatever way feels right for them.
Should you wish to set up a Tribute Fund, simply fill in the short online form below and a Pack will be sent to you containing guidance, advice, and ideas of how to support your fund. Or you could contact Wendy Bray on 0161 498 3662, or email tributefunds@sah.org.uk.
Any donation, however big or small, can be placed in the Tribute Fund you set up, and you can choose many different ways to contribute. Some people choose to simply make regular donations to the fund, others prefer to take part in sponsored activities like the Great North Run or sponsored walks. Any type of event or activity can be organised, and a dedicated member of staff will be on hand to support you and manage your Tribute Fund.
If you would like to use the web to make it easier for people to support your Tribute Fund, the Justgiving website may be of interest. It only takes 5 minutes (and no website knowledge!) to set up a page where your friends and family can donate online. Visit http://www.justgiving.com/stannshospice/remember for more details or contact us on 0161 498 3662.
Uncle
Edwin's Tribute FundCarole Graham set up a Tribute Fund in memory of her Uncle Edwin
"The whole family wanted to set up a Tribute Fund in memory of our Uncle Edwin. We all wanted to do something to help the Hospice and be able to celebrate his life in some way and we've all contributed to the fund in different ways. Even my daughter Kimberly managed to get the school where she teaches to hold a concert in aid of St Ann's.
The Fund has become a very special way of celebrating Uncle Edwin's life. It keeps his memory alive. He made such a positive impact on people that even his extended family - his line dancing friends - contribute the raffle money each month to the fund. In fact, the line dancing has been a really fun way to raise money and celebrate his life in the way he would want us to do..."
Thank you for your interest in St Ann's Hospice Tribute Funds.
