Come along to one of our summer fairs
We’re holding three special fundraising events across Greater Manchester this summer, to help raise funds to support local people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
Our three family-friendly summer events will kick off the holidays in style. Everyone is welcome at the events, which promise to be a real feast of family fun – with cakes and crafts, face-painting and tombolas…and everything in between!
The first event of the summer will be a special fundraising afternoon tea at the Neil Cliffe Centre in Wythenshawe Hospital, and will be held on 19 June from 2pm to 4pm.
There will also be two summer fairs held at the hospice’s Heald Green and Little Hulton sites – the Little Hulton one on 24th June from 12noon to 3pm, and the Heald Green one on 22 July, also from 12noon to 3pm. Highlights at the two fairs will include a barbeque, face painting, tombolas, raffles, stalls and refreshments – and much more too.
Entry to the fairs is just £1, with accompanied children free. Entry to the Neil Cliffe Centre afternoon tea is free.
At St Ann’s we’ve been a part of our local communities for almost half a century, and the summer fairs are always a highlight of our annual fundraising calendar. It’s always so great to meet local people, and to see everyone having such a great time whilst raising money for our patients and their families. We can’t wait to see everyone again this year. Eamonn O’Neal, Chief Executive of St Ann’s
