Staff have been celebrating after being presented with a special award

By News Team on October 26, 2018

We have recently received an Investors in People Silver award from assessor Heather Beattie, in recognition of our commitment to high performance through good people management.

Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry.

It’s incredibly exciting for us to have achieved Investors in People Silver standard after months of hard work.  We’re really proud that this award recognises our commitment to ensuring St Ann’s is an organisation of choice – both for our current staff and volunteers, and those who may choose to apply for roles advertised at the hospice. There’s a lot going on at St Ann’s, and I’m really proud to be part of such a dynamic team.  We know that there’s significant change going on around us, whether politically or economically, and we always strive to lead the way in ensuring we’re ahead of that change and can continue providing world-class specialist care to our patients and their families.  Huge thanks to the whole team at St Ann’s for their dedication – I’m so pleased to see their hard work recognised in this way. Eamonn O’Neal, Chief Executive of St Ann’s
We’d like to congratulate St Ann’s Hospice.  Investors in people is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work, and a clear commitment to success.  St Ann’s should be extremely proud of their achievement. Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People
