Gerard’s Lottery win
Gerard Pilling has been playing the Hospice Lottery for 25 years now, and has recently just won the jackpot!
Gerard, who has lived in Heald Green for the past 50 year, got a great surprise when he opened the envelope to discover that he had won the jackpot in our Hospice Lottery.
Gerard has been a supporter of St Ann’s for a long time now and he regularly donates goods to be sold in our charity shops.
I could not believe it. I have been in the lottery over 25 years, had a couple of small wins but this is great. Our two grandchildren have just started University so the money will be used to help them with their lodging fees. Gerard Pilling
We’ve recently announced that, for the first time since our lottery launched almost 25 years ago, supporters are able to purchase tickets in any of our fourteen shops around Greater Manchester. Our team has also revamped the prize structure of the weekly lottery, meaning an increased prize pot for local people to potentially get their hands on.
So, in addition to our weekly jackpot of £2,000, we are also now offering a rollover prize of £1,000 a week, up to a maximum of £10,000, and other weekly prizes of £50 for four winners, and £10 for 30 winners too!
