A Letter from Santa

Pre-Christmas trips to visit Santa will be cancelled this year, but we've come up with a magical solution to help get children even more excited and ready for Christmas Eve with personalised Santa Letters.

With Covid-19 and social distancing rules meaning many traditional pre-Christmas trips to visit Santa will be cancelled this year, so St Ann’s come up with a magical solution to help get children even more excited and ready for Christmas Eve.

We’re offering supporters the chance to request a personalised letter from Santa, which will be posted directly to children in December.

It’s really simple to do, simply visit our Christmas page here, and complete a simple form with a few details about the child who will be receiving the letter, with letters costing just £5.  The personalised letter from Santa will then be sent out in the post directly to the child before Christmas.

Rachel McMillan, Chief Executive of St Ann’s, said:

Every year we have hundreds of families who visit our Christmas Fair, and many of them love the chance to meet Santa Claus. This year, we’re sad that we’re not able to hold our fair as usual, and like many organisations, this means that Santa won’t be able to pay us a visit either. We’re hoping that by giving families the chance to arrange a special, personalised letter from Santa, we’ll be adding a bit of extra Christmas magic at the end of a difficult year. It’s been especially challenging for our hospice, as many of our fundraising activities and events like our Christmas Fair have been cancelled, so initiatives like this one with Santa will not only hopefully bring a smile to lots of faces this December, but will also help us raise much-needed funds too.
