Join St Ann’s for a Golf Day this September and score a hole in one for your local hospice!
We’ve opened registration for our popular annual Golf Day which sees teams from across Greater Manchester gather together to raise money for local patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
The Golf Day will be held at the beautiful Cheadle Golf Club on Thursday 2nd September, starting at 9am. This one-day event will be a fun, informal day of golfing, open to all levels, giving teams the opportunity to practice their putting and sharpen your swing whilst raising vital funds for St Ann’s during our 50th anniversary year.
Tickets cost just £100 per one team of four golfers. On the day, we’ll be hosting a raffle with a selection of luxury prizes, plus we’ll be offering tea, coffee, and bacon sandwiches on arrival and a choice from the BBQ for lunch after your team has played.
The support we receive from local businesses is incredibly important to our sustainability and to help us ensure we can continue providing care to patients and their loved ones. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a wide range of dedicated, supportive businesses that help the hospice in so many ways, and our annual Golf Day is always a popular way of doing so. I lost my partner to cancer and she spent the last remaining days of her life at a hospice and the staff were so kind and helpful. Therefore, I decided to try and help raise money for the hospice. For those local businesses who would like to be involved in other ways, sponsorship options are also available. The fundraising team at the hospice is also keen to hear from local businesses who might be able to donate prizes for the special event.
