Long-time St Ann’s Hospice supporter Barbara Thackray will be featured on Channel 5’s 5 News at 5 this evening as their Hero of the Week!
Barbara has raised more than £30,000 for St Ann’s since she took up running a decade ago when she was 77.
She is now 87 years of age and runs two 10ks each week to stay active.
As part of the filming, Channel spoke with Head of Fundraising and Capital Campaign, Anne-Marie Wynne about the impact supporters like Barbara have on the hospice.
