London Marathon 2022

Join Team St Ann’s and run the London Marathon 2022!

October 2, 2022

Run the iconic London Marathon in 2022 and help raise vital funds for #TeamStAnns. The 26.2 mile challenge will take you through the capital, ending on Westminster Bridge.

Sadly, we have sold out of our places for 2022 however if you have your own place you can still join Team St Ann’s and fundraise for us.

If you get your own place in the ballot, why not run on behalf of St Ann’s?

There’s no minimum sponsorship, and we will make sure to support you every step of your marathon journey, giving you all the perks below whilst you help to raise vital funds for St Ann’s and the Greater Manchester community.

Run for St Ann’s and you’ll get loads of awesome perks, including:

  • A #TeamStAnns running vest
  • A fundraising pack with fun ideas and tips
  • Regular training and nutrition advice
  • A dedicated Events and Fundraising Team here to support you all the way!

Join #TeamStAnns and do something incredible for your local hospice!

We do have places for the 2023 marathon and you can register your interest in a St Ann’s Hospice place by completing a form here or emailing events@sah.org.uk or by calling 0161 498 3631.

Calendar Clash? Go Solo for St Ann’s!

Want to show your support for the hospice by running the famous 26.2 mile distance in your own time? We appreciate that not everyone is able to take part in our events in person but still want to take part and support us. We’d be delighted to welcome you onboard and appreciate your efforts for the hospice and all those we help. Simply set-up a JustGiving page on our campaign site, with lots of exciting details about your training and fundraising, remembering to explain that your event runs alongside the Manchester marathon and share your story with St Ann’s and the world.

Volunteering!

We’re always looking for volunteers to help us out with our events, with numerous opportunities to get involved. A particular highlight is manning our fabulous and friendly cheering station, helping to power our runners around the course.
