Snowdon Challenge

Calling all Team St Ann's adventurers!

September 12, 2020

Join Team St Ann’s as we look to once again conquer the summit of Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. Set in the stunning surrounding of Snowdonia national park, we will be taking two groups up the mountain, with the first group going up in the day before ‘passing the torch’ to the second group, who will go up later in the day to reach the summit at sunset. Whether you want to fly the flag for our hospice in the day time or shine a light in the darkness for St Ann’s, we’d be delighted to welcome you!

Location: Snowdonia, Wales

Date: Saturday 12th September 2020

Route: If you take on our nine-mile Snowdon trek, you’ll navigate up a winding route to the summit. Be prepared for a steady climb on a mixture of rough and well-kept pathways. At 1,085m (3,560ft), you’ll be able to admire the breath-taking views of the Snowdonia National Park at your feet with Anglesey and the Irish Sea in the distance.

Fitness: To take on this challenge you’ll need to be reasonably fit and do some training. If you are signing up for the evening challenge you must be capable of safely descending a mountain in darker conditions.

Registration fee (Due on sign up): £40

Minimum Sponsorship Target for St Ann’s Hospice (Due before departure): £300

Please help support our patients and raise as much as you can –

• £300 could pay for a patient to attend a day therapy session
