Due to the continued significant rise in Covid cases, and record numbers of hospitalisations and deaths, JustHelping has made the difficult decision to postpone the charity Christmas tree recycling the carry out in aid of the hospice each year.
Despite extensive efforts made by teams to ensure that all risk assessments have been updated where possible, the overall risk to the health of volunteers and the local community is too great to carry out the activity during lockdown. The collection must therefore be postponed until it can be run safely within government guidelines.
You can find out more about the next steps, what will happen if you would like your tree to be collected when the new date is set, or other ways you can consider disposing of your tree in the meantime should you prefer, on the JustHelping website here: https://just-helping.org.uk/collections/st-ann-s-hospice/
We’d like to thank both you, and the whole JustHelping team for your support for what has been one of the most challenging years for St Ann’s. We really do appreciate it and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
