This February we’re challenging local businesses to take part in our annual Corporate Challenge and for 2021 we’ve come up with a brand new and exciting way for you to support our patients.
Our Move • Eat • Play • Give challenge is a really simple way to fundraise for St Ann’s with your colleagues, whether that’s at the office, in the shop or when working from home.
You really can tailor the challenge to your business, and what your team would most like to do – creating a bespoke fundraiser just for you!
We’re challenging you to pick a fundraiser from the four categories below – you can choose whether you pick just one challenge, or an activity from each category. The choice is yours! We’ve made a few suggestions, but you can also come up with your own ideas that fit within the categories should you wish. Our team is also able to help and guide you, or give advice on shaping your plans as well. It’s up to you!
Here a few ideas to get you started:
- Walk 3 miles every day – the distances one of our nurses walks in an average shift on our wards – for the duration of February
- A running challenge – run a marathon in a month!
- Virtual yoga class
- Virtual cook-along
- Give up your favourite treat for a month and donate the cost
- Raffle a hamper of leftover Christmas goodies
- Host a virtual murder mystery
- Quiz night
- Company donation
- Clothes / shop donations
- Dress down day
There are lots of ideas to get you employees involved in and it’s a fantastic way to build team morale whilst helping to raise vital funds for our hospice. You’ve got an entire month to take part and we’ll be giving a prize to the business or employee group that raises the most money!
