Hospice volunteer roles
We have a range of volunteering opportunities at the hospice, and we’re sure there’ll be something to suit everyone!

Please note, our volunteering roles are limited to shop volunteers only. We will provide further updates for volunteering opportunities soon.
What would you like to do?
Ward Duties
Duties are primarily serving hot and cold drinks to patients. No medical or nursing duties are involved.
The Coffee Shop
Selling hot and cold drinks and snacks to patients, visitors and staff.
Flower Arranging
Making up flower displays from donated flowers for the wards and other areas.
Day Care
Volunteers act as hosts to day care patients.
The Driving Service
This service involves bringing patients to day care, and taking them to outpatient appointments.
Reception Desk
Covering the front desk in the evenings and at weekends.
Gardening
Looking after the lawns and flowerbeds on the hospice grounds.
Complementary Therapies
Trained therapists who can deliver therapies to our patients and carers.
