Hospice volunteer roles

We have a range of volunteering opportunities at the hospice, and we’re sure there’ll be something to suit everyone!

Please note, our volunteering roles are limited to shop volunteers only. We will provide further updates for volunteering opportunities soon.

What would you like to do?

Duties are primarily serving hot and cold drinks to patients. No medical or nursing duties are involved.

The Coffee Shop

Selling hot and cold drinks and snacks to patients, visitors and staff.

Flower Arranging

Making up flower displays from donated flowers for the wards and other areas.

Day Care

Volunteers act as hosts to day care patients.

The Driving Service

This service involves bringing patients to day care, and taking them to outpatient appointments.

Reception Desk

Covering the front desk in the evenings and at weekends.

Looking after the lawns and flowerbeds on the hospice grounds.

Complementary Therapies

Trained therapists who can deliver therapies to our patients and carers.

…or anything else!

If you think you have a skill, experience, or some availability that could benefit St Ann’s, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch to discuss alternative opportunities.
