Grief in exceptional times

Losing a loved one is extremely difficult for many reasons. For some of us, this has been made even harder during the coronavirus pandemic.

The coronavirus pandemic is something we never would have dreamt we’d go through in our lifetime. It impacts every aspect of our lives, including grieving.

It can be particularly difficult to cope with losing a loved one during these challenging times.

Feeling these emotions can make us feel unbalanced. Life can feel like it’s being turned upside down as we try to adjust to life without someone we love.

Allow yourself some time to reflect on how your experience is impacting on you

The videos below may help you to support yourself, or others, through grief.

Sometimes it can help to talk to someone about your loss

It could be loss of a loved one, not being able to see your family and friends, or feeling a lack of purpose with everyday routines being disrupted.
