Purpose of Volunteering Role:

To support St Ann’s Hospice by providing support with light maintenance tasks across 10 charity shops, a warehouse and an office. The role is lone working with travel to various sites during opening hours which would require the use of a vehicle (Travel expenses are provided)

Online Sales Assistant

Our Online sales department is at the forefront of our future plans. We are looking for an enthusiastic Online Sales Assistant with a willingness to learn and a passion for online retail as well as a keen interest in pre loved items who can help us to grow into one of the largest online charity retailers.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Can you help St Ann’s Hospice grow our online retail operation?
  • Do you have a passion for online sales and experience of creating listings for eBay?
  • Can you work alongside our Online Manager to identify new opportunities?
  • Are you well organised with attention to detail and great communication skills?


Contract:
we are pleased to be able to offer this post as a part time permanent position.

Salary: Band 2 competency based £21,303 – £22,414 pro rata

Working Pattern: 22.5 hours ideally worked over 5 days.

Based at: Distribution Centre, Reddish, Stockport

Online Volunteer

Volunteering Hours:

Various hours (Minimum 3 hour shifts) Monday to Friday 9:00am – 16:00pm

Department and Location of Volunteering Role:
Trading Company Distribution Centre
Unit A1 Bankfield Industrial Estate, Coronation street, Reddish SK5 7SE

Purpose of Volunteering Role:

To help raise vital funds to support patients with life limiting illnesses and their families across Greater Manchester by:

  • Creating online listings using eBay and other online sales platforms.
  • Taking photos of items for listing online.
  • Researching items for history, purpose and value.
  • Updating shop social media pages to engage with local communities.
  • Packaging items for posting.
