Manchester Pride 2024
Register for the St Ann's Hospice entry into the Manchester Pride Parade on Saturday 24th August 2024.
We’re so excited to be back at Manchester Pride for the second year running, and looking forward to our parade entry being even bigger and better!
In 2023, St Ann’s staff, volunteers, supporters, and family members and friends of patients came together to walk alongside each other in our inaugural entry into the iconic parade. It was a fantastic day filled with joy, alongside important conversations and connections being strengthened with the LGBTQ+ community. You can see photos from the day in our Flickr gallery below.

Parade details
This year’s Manchester Pride Parade takes place on Saturday 24th August 2024. The Pride Parade theme this year is ‘Buzzin’ to be Queer – A Hive of Progress’, with the focal symbol being the worker bee, an iconic emblem of Manchester.

Our entry
There are only 75 places for walkers available for our Manchester Pride Parade entry, so allocation will be on a first-come first-serve basis according to the registration timelines below. Once all places have been filled, there will be the option to join the St Ann’s cheer squad and waiting list for the parade entry.
Registration timeline
Until Friday 21st June, registration is open to St Ann’s Hospice staff and plus ones only.
From Wednesday 26th June to Friday 5th July, registration will be open to St Ann’s Hospice volunteers and supporters who walked in last year’s parade, along with their plus ones.
From Monday 8th July onwards, registration will be open to all supporters.

To register one additional guest (e.g. partner) as well as yourself, your guest must fill in a second individual application form with their details.
