Attendees at the Manchester Legal Awards raised just over £5000 for us, by taking part in a special raffle, following the announcement that the Manchester Law Society had chosen the hospice as its charity of the year.

The sold-out event, which was sponsored by Capita PLC with MEN Media as media partner, saw more than 650 of the region’s legal professionals gather at The Midland Hotel.

Manchester Law Society will be working closely with us throughout the year to help promote our work caring for local patients and their families.

St Ann’s is a wonderful local cause and we’re proud that attendees at the awards were so generous in donating to them. Many of our member organisations already support the hospice and we’re looking forward to working with staff there to help raise awareness of their work in caring for local people. Fran Eccles-Bech, Chief Executive of Manchester Law Society
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made a donation at the Manchester Legal Awards and to the Manchester Law Society for their support. As a charity we need to raise around £16,000 every day to keep our services running, so every penny raised really does make a difference to the lives of our patients and their families. We’re really looking forward to working with Fran and the team at the Manchester Law Society in the coming year. Eamonn O’Neal, Chief Executive of St Ann’s

The money raised will help patients across our three hospice sites.
