Our Golf Day was a big hit!
Our sell-out Golf Day was a huge success and the sun shone down at our new venue, the Dunham Forest Golf and Country Club on Thursday 17th May.
The day started with a light lunch for all of the 22 teams involved, followed by a shot gun start at 2pm. Following the golf, there was then a prize-giving and auction in the evening hosted by our Chief Executive, Eamonn O’Neal.
The winning team was EMC (Knutsford), and the second prize team was Gorvins Solicitors.

Eamonn O’Neal, Chief Executive, said: “Our Golf Day is one of the highlights of our fundraising calendar each year, and is a great opportunity for people to network whilst joining with friends or colleagues to help the hospice.
“We’re so pleased that the event has raised over £21,000, which is fantastic and the most ever raised from our Golf Day.
“A huge thank you to our kind headline sponsor Brewin Dolphin, who are very generous in their support of St Ann’s – we’re enormously grateful. Special thanks to Laura and Harry Ross, who have supported St Ann’s for many years with their own golf event and who have teamed up with us this year to organise this event. We’d also like to thank the many businesses and other organisations for providing donations, hole sponsorship and prizes for the day.
