A big thank you to all of our crafty supporters!

We get so many wonderful items donated to the hospice, but this week has been especially crafty!

Slimming World members in Hazel Grove have very kindly donated twenty lovely blankets that they have handmade themselves! The Slimming World group have all started knitting together and they have been knitting the squares for the blankets since January. These lovely blankets are going to be used for the patients at all of our hospice sites, which we’re sure our patients will be delighted with.

A lovely lady called Alma popped into our Heald Green hospice this week and donated these handmade charming knitted Easter baskets filled with chocolates. Alma has told us that she has made almost 200 of the little Easter baskets and the money that she has made from selling them has been donated to different charities. We are selling these little baskets on reception at our Heald Green hospice site.

One of our fantastic garden volunteers, Liz, has been very busy in the sun this weekend and has made some Easter flower pots for us, using recycled donated jugs. These are also being sold on reception at our Heald Green hospice site. What a lovely Easter treat!
