Praising our supporters to mark our annual Thank-a-thon
In the lead up to Christmas, we ran our annual Thank-a-thon, with staff members ringing supporters as an opportunity to say a huge thank you to them.
As part of the event, we made as many phone calls as we could to anyone who has supported our hospice this year. The calls were made by 16 members of staff across the fundraising and communications team.
Being able to personally thank people who have made such a difference to us in the past year is always a highlight for our teams in December.
The number of supporters that we have gained over the years is incredible as we have built connections with local people for over 52 years.

Simply by saying thank you and wishing our supporters a merry Christmas, the staff brightened the days of many of our supporters; many were grateful for the call and having a catch up with the St Ann’s team!
