Great Manchester Run – 26th May

Would you like to be one of thousands taking part in the Great Manchester Run this May?

The epic 10km or half marathon challenge is a highlight of our events calendar each year and an amazing way to support St Ann’s.

We would love for you to run for our hospice, taking on either the 10km that takes in the sights of Salford Quays or the half marathon which starts towards the Etihad stadium and looping back to Salford.

You can register to run for St Ann’s Hospice by completing the form at www.sah.org.uk/GMR, emailing our events team at events@sah.org.uk or calling us on 0161 498 3631.

Christmas tree recycling collections

Disposing of your Christmas tree has never been easier, with St Ann’s Hospice you can have your tree collected and recycled this month – but the deadline for signing up is Sunday 7th January, so don’t miss out.

St Ann’s Hospice is working with national charity JustHelping again to organise Christmas tree collections between Thursday 11th and Sunday 14th January.

All postcode areas in Manchester, Stockport, Trafford and Salford are eligible to get their Christmas tree collected.

This is a great way to dispose of your Christmas tree in a stress-free and sustainable way. Last year’s collection raised £57,000 for St Ann’s Hospice so we’re hoping that this years is a great success too.

Sign up now to have your tree collected, please see our website at www.sah.org.uk/christmastree

Tour de Manc

We are calling for people to sign up to the Tour de Manc bike ride to secure your place in the biggest Tour de Manc yet and help fund our new hospice building that is so desperately needed.

Over 45 riders took on the challenging routes last year to raise money for our Build It Together new hospice appeal, which aims to raise the final £2 million we need to build a much-needed new hospice in Heald Green.

There are a variety of distances in the Tour de Manc, so riders of all abilities are catered for.

If you’d like to find out more and cycle your way to victory for St Ann’s Hospice in next year’s Tour de Manc visit www.sah.org.uk/TDM or contact our fundraising team on events@sah.org.ukor 0161 498 3631.
