Could you walk on fire for St Ann’s?

Looking for a new challenge? Sign up to St Ann’s Hospice’s Firewalk this November!

Have you got a burning desire to try a new challenge this year?

Could you hotfoot it over 20ft of wood embers, burning at 1236 degrees Fahrenheit, and fundraise to support St Ann’s Hospice’s patients and their loved ones? The only thing holding you back is you!

The Firewalk will take place on 10th November 2024 at our Little Hulton hospice and is open to anyone over the age of 14 (accompanied by an adult).

You’ll be in the safe hands of a Blaze ‘Fire Master’ instructor who will take you through a motivational Fear Buster session prior to the Firewalk, helping you to leap into this challenge feet first!

The motivational exercises you do before the walk get you and the group you’re with really excited. The ‘mind over matter’ exercises will help you prepare for the challenge.

Marie Foster, Innovation and Digital Fundraiser at St Ann’s, took part in a previous Firewalk for St Ann’s, and she says: “I always wanted to do a Firewalk to prove to myself that I could do something challenging.”

I was nervous but on the night the training from Blaze was fun and put me at ease. Such a sense of achievement when I did it, so good I did it again too! Marie Foster, Innovation and Digital Fundraiser, St Ann’s Hospice

“Whenever I tell people I took part in this challenge they always ask if it hurts and it honestly doesn’t, I’d recommend it to everyone!”

The registration fee to take part in the Firewalk is £20. We ask that each participant raises £150, which will help us continue our work supporting patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Will you face your fears and walk on fire to raise money for St Ann’s Hospice?
