St Ann’s remembers Trustee Alan Bond
We were sad to receive the news that our former Trustee Alan Bond had died last week.
Everyone at St Ann’s Hospice was sad to receive the news that our former Trustee Alan Bond has died.
Alan was a hugely valued member of our Board of Trustees for decades, having joined the Board on 12th December 1991.
Alan was Associate Director of Tradition (UK) Ltd, a global leader in interdealer broking, and was a chartered accountant and chartered secretary. He was Trustee of the St Ann’s Pension Fund and Chairman of the Trading Company and Finance Committee.
Chair of St Ann’s Hospice Jackie Oldham said: “His contribution to St Ann’s over a number of decades was immense. He was always positive, kind and influential and truly loved being involved with St Ann’s. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.”
Chief Executive of St Ann’s Hospice Rachel McMillan said: “We all have such fond memories of Alan, an absolute gentleman and his experience and expertise was instrumental in terms of our vision for the hospice.”
