Enhanced Occupational Sick Pay

The hospice offers enhanced occupational sick pay which is paid inclusive of Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).

During the first year of service

One months full pay inclusive of SSP and
Two months half pay inclusive of SSP

During the second year of service

Two months full pay inclusive of SSP and
Two months half pay inclusive of SSP

During the third year of service

Four months full pay inclusive of SSP
Four months half pay inclusive of SSP

During the fourth and fifths years of service

Five months full pay inclusive of SSP
Five months half pay inclusive of SSP

After completing five years’ service

Six months full pay inclusive of SSP
Six months half pay inclusive of SSP
