An internal development opportunity has arisen as a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse on the Inpatient Unit.
This is a 12-month secondment opportunity to cover for a period of maternity leave.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Are you able to demonstrate excellence in palliative care, with an interest in developing further?
  • Can you demonstrate an interest in developing your leadership skills?
  • You must be passionate about our patients and be committed to change and supporting the organization in delivering specialist palliative care to our patients.
  • Most importantly, you must be wholeheartedly committed to and motived by the purpose and values of St Ann’s Hospice.

Contract: We are pleased to be able to offer this post as a Secondment for 12 months from April 2024 *Internal Only*

Salary: St Ann’s Band 6 £37,127-£42,618 per annum , pro rata  Competency Based Framework

Working pattern: 23 – 37.5 hours per week

Based at:  Cross site working at Heald Green and Little Hulton

Free Car Parking at both St Ann’s Sites

Dependent on their current role, the successful candidate may be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which is covered by the hospice.

Any post holder within the organisation will be expected to undertake safeguarding training appropriate to their role and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. All staff must work in accordance with their statutory roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding in accordance with the Working Together to Safeguarding Children 2023, The Care Act 2014, and Prevent Duty 2015.
