They have enlisted three team-mates from their Stockport Sunday League team AFC Cheadle for their next challenge at Capesthorne Hall in May.

The course was great fun and doing it for a fantastic cause spurred us on. We'd like to thank everyone for their generous support. St Ann's were amazing with the care provided for my girlfriend Nicola's grandmother Millie Frain who died in May 2015. My late grandfather Cyril Kemp was also a patient there several years ago. Alex, an IT solutions architect from Cheadle

Paul, a joiner from Cheadle Hulme, raised funds in memory of Anne Latham, mother of his fiance Kara Latham. Anne died in St Ann’s in June 2016. Along with Kara, her sister Sian Buckley and her husband Graham, they have raised almost £2,500 for St Ann’s.

We can't speak highly enough of the staff at St Ann's who made what was a truly heartbreaking time for us as a family a little more bearable and ensured we could create some lasting memories with mum in a comfortable, supportive and loving environment. The care she received was second to none and we as a family will forever be grateful that St Ann's helped mum keep that smile on her face right until the end. Kara
