Stockport Homes has raised a massive £33,329.41 for us during their two year Charity of the Year partnership, taking part in numerous initiatives including treks, dress down days, raffles, bake sales, a pub quiz, participation in a Dragon Boat Race, a 24 hour cycle relay (Cyclone24) and our Colour Run event.

The team were also crowned the Ultimate Accumulator as part of the St Ann’s Accumulator Challenge two years in a row.  Last October, the Accumulator – which is pitched as a Dragons’ Den meets The Apprentice fundraiser – saw the company grow an initial amount of £100 into £3,917 for the charity, beating other local businesses to win the accolade.

Eamonn O’Neal, Chief Executive of St Ann’s, said: “We can’t thank Stockport Homes enough for all of their support and we’re sure they’ll remain a firm friend of the hospice.

“St Ann’s has been a part of the local communities it serves for almost half a century, but we will only be able to continue to provide our care thanks to partnerships with individuals and businesses like Stockport Homes.  At this time of political and economic uncertainty, I’m always amazed and overwhelmed that so many people decide to throw themselves into supporting our cause so wholeheartedly – and Stockport Homes have certainly done that.

“Their endless enthusiasm for supporting our charity has really shone through over the last two years, and they’ve been a pleasure to work alongside.  They’ve raised a phenomenal amount of money, which we’re hugely grateful for, and I’d like to thank them on behalf of all of our patients, families, staff and volunteers.”
