JP & Brimelow full to the brim with fundraising ideas

By News Team on September 18, 2018

JP & Brimelow rarely miss the opportunity to support St Ann’s, fundraising for us and spreading the word about the work we do in the local community.

Fun runs, bike rides, golf days and sky dives are just a few of the exciting initiatives that staff at the South Manchester estate agent have been involved in.

Company Director Eddie Ellis even wears his hospice badge with pride when he is out and about selling property in South Manchester, in an effort to raise awareness of our work.

My badge has the St Ann's emblem of the forget-me-not flower and is an ice-breaker when I go into homes. No-one knows that all the care provided by the hospice is free and on a recent visit to St Ann's I learnt that it now costs about £20,000 a day to keep the hospice going.
That's why fundraising is so important to them and why we're delighted to help St Ann's as part of our engagement with the local community. We're also proud to work with schools, community organisations and sports clubs. Eddie Ellis

We are proud to say that JP & Brimelow is now one of St Ann’s official business partners in recognition of all their hard work and support, and we look forward to continuing our relationship into the future.

JP & Brimelow has offices in Withington and Chorlton, which is where its Didsbury sales are also handled. Eddie donated £50 for each sale completed during August to St Ann’s, and has pledged to donate £25 for each instruction received in October.

JP & Brimelow are also taking part in our Accumulator Challenge, in which corporate teams attempt to grow £100 during a month. Eddie’s plan to generate funds involves asking someone in the local community to lend a spinning bike, and then inviting staff to pedal away outside their Chorlton office on Barlow Moor Road!

Eddie, wife Lucy and their colleagues Jack Braithwaite, James Downham and Simon Thomas also recently competed in the Salford 10k, raising over an impressive £3,000 between them! They set up a Just Giving page to raise funds, which you can visit here.
