Donation Drive Thru
Declutter with ease with our next Donation Drive-Thru day on January 8th that allows you to recycle your unwanted goods.
People with homes brimming with unwanted Christmas gifts or boxes of items accumulated during lockdown decluttering sessions will be able to create some much-needed space, thanks to the upcoming St Ann’s Drive-Thru donations day.
Although ‘drive-thru’ is usually a concept people apply to food and drinks, the charity has taken the in-car concept one step further, as people recycle their unwanted goods in a new and innovative way.
We’ve run many drive-thru days at our Distribution Centre in Reddish with each proving so popular that hundreds of donations were made in just a few hours.
Our Trading Company team have arranged another date on Saturday 8th January, which is perfect timing for clearing out your homes of unwanted gifts and other items in the new year after a busy festive time.
People often have gifts they’ve received over the festive season that either they never get round to using, or that doesn’t fit properly. Instead of leaving them to clutter up a cupboard in your house, we’d love you to donate them and any other items that you don’t need at our donation day drive-thru event. Items will then be sorted and sold in one of our 10 shops across Greater Manchester or our online shops. The money raised from the sale of items will help us to continue providing our specialist care to those who really need it, and we’d be hugely grateful for your support. People can simply drive up to our distribution centre in Reddish on 8th January any time between 9am and 12noon, and leave their goods with our friendly team. It’s a really easy to find location, just off the M60, so a quick and convenient solution if you’re trying to make space at home after Christmas. As well as being good for the environment to recycle your pre-loved goods in this way, it also means we can sell them to raise vital funds for local patients too. The Drive-Thru donation day will be taking place on Saturday 8th January, at St Ann’s Hospice’s Distribution Centre, Bankfield Industrial Estate, Unit A1, Coronation Street, Reddish, SK5 7SE, and drivers can drop by any time between 9am and 12noon.
