A big thank you to our nurses for International Nurses Day!
International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every year on the 12th May, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. Each year carries a theme, and for 2022 the theme is “Nurses: A Voice to Lead – Invest in nursing and respect rights to secure global health”.
Thanks to all of the incredible hospice nurses who chose to work at St Ann’s Hospice, for their hard work, commitment, expertise and compassion. On this day we celebrate the amazing contribution that our nurses make to the lives of so many patients and their families, and thank them for their contribution. As a nurse, and Director of Clinical Services at St Ann’s Hospice, I am proud of our team, and to work in organisation which invests in nursing, their development, their well-being and their growth.
