St Ann’s Hospice hosts SACT and phlebotomy Clinics for patients of The Christie Hospital throughout the week.

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is based in Manchester and provides a networked service that service a population of 3.2 million across Greater Manchester and Cheshire delivering care as close to patient’s home as possible.

St Ann’s Hospice Little Hulton

The Christie delivers systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) treatments to Christie patients living in or around the Little Hulton area.

The SACT treatment clinic is operational Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, between 8.30am and 4pm.

Most patients will need a blood test to be taken prior to every treatment. The pre-treatment blood test can be taken at St Ann’s Hospice on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Your clinical team at The Christie will speak to you to arrange an appointment if you need one. For each blood test, you will need a blood form which can be sent out in the post or the nurse can provide forms to you when you attend for your treatment.

St Ann’s Hospice Heald Green

The Christie delivers a phlebotomy clinic to Christie patients living in or around the Cheadle area.

Patients who wish to visit the phlebotomy clinic are required to book in advance by calling the Outreach team or speaking to your Christie team.

Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Christie team run the clinics and patients should still liaise with the Christie regarding any of their treatment plans and any follow up appointments.
