The post holder will work within the policy framework of the hospice in the provision of advanced practice in specialist palliative and supportive care by ensuring that the work of clinical services meets the aims and objectives of the organisation.
Have you got what it takes?
- Are you a registered nurse or physiotherapist with significant clinical experience in the field of specialist palliative care?
- Can you demonstrate experience of mentoring, teaching and service development as a senior practitioner?
- You must be passionate about our patients and a collaborative colleague
- Most importantly, you must be wholeheartedly committed to and motived by the purpose and values of St Ann’s Hospice.
Contract: We are pleased to be able to offer this post as a Fixed term position.
Permanent on successful completion of apprenticeship (Internal Only)
Salary: Band 7 £45,808-£51,558 Competency Based per annum, Hospice Band 8a on successful completion of training programme.
Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week over 7 days
Based at: Cross Site

The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which is covered by the hospice.
Any post holder within the organisation will be expected to undertake safeguarding training appropriate to their role and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. All staff must work in accordance with their statutory roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding in accordance with the Working Together to Safeguarding Children 2023, The Care Act 2014, and Prevent Duty 2015.
