Did you know that if you buy 20 tickets, you could fund a complementary therapy session for a patient when they need our care most?
I’ve been at St Ann’s Hospice for over a year, recently taking on a new position as Cross-Site Charge Nurse. This means I work across the Inpatient Units at both our hospices as one of the senior nurses looking after our patients. It’s a demanding role and a lot of responsibility, but it’s a privilege to be able to look after people in their last days and hours. We can have up to 18 patients at a time at one site, all with different diagnoses and different needs, and we care for their families and loved ones too.
We couldn’t do this without your support. St Ann’s provides this excellent care free of charge to those who need it, but we rely on fundraising and donations from our community to continue.
