Updated 29 March

To protect patients, visitors, volunteers and staff, the following changes have been made to our visitor policies from immediate effect:

Maximum of two visitors per patient, unless patient has been confirmed as positive for coronavirus and then no visitors will be permitted.
Patient to identify their two named visitors and advise the clinical teams. Nominated visitors must be an immediate family member or carer.
Children under the age of 16 not to visit the unit unless agreed with the Nurse in Charge.
On arrival to the hospice you will be asked your name and this will be checked against the nominated visitor information as provided by the patient.

Your health, safety and wellbeing, that of our patients, communities and individuals and teams across the hospice remain our absolute priority.

Everyone should follow the expert national guidance on social distancing and self-isolation, staying at home wherever possible, to help limit the spread of coronavirus, protect the most vulnerable people in our communities and our hospice.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding at this challenging time.

If you have a high temperature and/or a new, continuous cough, please do not visit the hospice. Follow government guidance and stay at home for at least seven days until you are well.
